Can individual rooms be booked?
No. The house is rented out in its entirety. Although if the cottage housing the Indian and Queen’s bedrooms is not required you can request a reduced rate.
Is Moongate a hotel?
No. You are given the keys at the beginning of your stay and your group is unchaperoned.
Are breakfasts and evening meals available?
No. We can organize to have the larder stocked for you at cost plus a fee for the service.

Are dogs and pets allowed?
No. Moongate is in close proximity to farm land and is unsuitable for animals
How many bathrooms are there at Moongate?
There are four bathrooms (one with a steam shower) in total. One bathroom is located in the cottage. There is an additional guest toilet adjacent to the Music Room. The Venetian Master Bedroom has a bathroom en-suite.
Are towels and linen provided?
Yes
Is heating and electricity included in the price?
Yes

What are the check out and arrival times?
Arrive after midday and leave by 2pm

Are there TVs and DVD players in the house?
There are TVs in the Music and Snooker Room. There is a DVD player in the Music Room.
Are there music systems available?
Yes there are CD players and a docking system
Is there a computer or internet access available?
No. Please enquire in Borris village or Bagenalstown for intenet access.
Is there a microwave?
Yes there is also a standard oven and an AGA.
What cooking utensils do we need to bring?
The kitchen is well equipped, if you have any specific requests please enquire via email.
Is there a barbeque?

Can we erect a marquee?
Yes
Can we invite extra guests to the property?
Yes with our permission
Are there any cots?
No
Do you have hairdryers?
Yes, there are a couple of hairdryers available at Moongate
Do we need a hire car or use of a car?
Yes, Moongate is in a remote setting and transport is essential.
