It also is a fantastic base from which to explore the surrounding counties of Wicklow, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny and Tipperary. Local towns and villages include Borris and Bagenalstown
Moongate Sleeps 15 people, with 6 double bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom, with four bathrooms, one en-suite. Available for rental of the whole house only on a self catering basis

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property are quoted in euros. Prices are higher over Easter and the Christmas and New Year Period only.
Self catering lets where the cottage is not used qualify for a 10% reduction.
Arrival 12 noon. Departure 2pm
Not suitable for wheelchair users.
Beautiful gardens on a 2 acre site. Views of endless green fields and the blackstairs mountains, a walker’s paradise.
The beach is an hour drive from Moongate. Check out the golden sands of Duncannon Beach County Wexford

There are several golf courses within 10-60 minutes drive, including the world famous Mount Juliet.
Moongate is about an hour and thirty minute drive from Dublin Airport or an hours drive from Rosslare Ferry Port. Car hire or use of a car is essential. See also location page
A forty minute drive to Kilkenny and Carlow Towns. A 10 minute drive from Borris Village.
Local village of Borris has several pubs, post office, petrol/diesel filling station, local supermarket and smaller shops, takeaway, and restaurant.

25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. We also require you to sign a booking contract. The balance is due 1 week prior to your stay. We hold your deposit as a damage deposit and this is returned by cheque after your departure. Linen, towels, and coal for fires are included in your rate. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque. We do not accept credit card, or bank card payment. Alternatively bank drafts are also accepted.
